Toyota recalls 77 RAV4 plug-in hybrids over a fault that can cut power
Toyota SA is recalling 77 RAV4 PHEVs built between 2 April and 3 September 2026. A motor control unit fault can trigger a fail-safe mode or shut the system down at speed. Dealers will reprogram the unit for free.
